NarrativeAt 10:45 a.m. on November 30, 2017, an employee was working for a wholesaler of fresh fruits and vegetables. He was removing weeds from an outside roll topper. His right hand was caught in the unguarded rotating rollers. He sustained the amputation of the ring finger on his right hand at the first joint (probably the proximal joint) and broken bones in all fingers on his right hand.

NarrativeAt 7:45 p.m. on October 21, 2017, an employee was cleaning and sanitizing a DS 41 Recirc Laser Reject Auger for raisin production. The employee reached his hand into the auger to remove some debris that would not come out when sprayed with water and caught his left forearm just above his wrist in the auger. The employee partially severed his left hand, wrist, and part of his forearm. The employee was hospitalized for three days.
