NarrativeAt 11:30 a.m. on January 23, 2018, an employee was moving product in a freezer with a forklift. The forklift struck unprotected refrigeration piping, breaking a valve and releasing anhydrous ammonia. The employee's face, eyes, and chest were exposed to the anhydrous ammonia and the employee was hospitalized.
On Monday, November 13th 2017 OSHA reps took a report of a serious accident in Meriden, CT which had occured previously at Ragozzino Foods, Inc.. A 30 year old man working as a Food Cleanup Worker was injured on the job when the employee amputated finger while cleaning a press mixer

NarrativeAt 2:30 a.m. on November 9, 2017, an employee was working for a firm that provided sanitation services for food processing plants across the United States and Canada. He was working at a food processing plant owned by a firm that produced specialty frozen foods. He was watching a worker for the firm that owned the processing plant clean a press mixer. Though not authorized, the employee, for some reason, decided to clean the press mixer. The tip of the ring finger on his right hand was amputated by the press mixers rotating augur. The narrative did not say whether or not he was hospitalized.
OSHA investigators arrived in Topeka, KS on Monday, October 23rd 2017 and began an accident investigation after learning of an incident at Resers Fine Foods Inc. which had occured on Tuesday, October 17th 2017.
