NarrativeAt 7:15 a.m. on July 24, 2017, an employee was operating #27 press. The employee was either inserting or removing a premium tool assembly jaw from the press when press was turned on and caught the employee's fingers and hand with the die or ram. The employee suffered crushing injuries and amputated a portion of their hand. No identification was made within the report as to the full extent of the employee's injuries.

NarrativeAt 8:30 a.m. on January 24, 2017, an employee was running parts in a punch press. The employee removed a part from the punch press which broke and the press continued to cycle. The broken part caught the employee's hand within the punch press and amputated four fingers from their left hand. The employee was not hospitalized.
