The employee depressed the foot pedal which activated the press and amputated his right hand's ring finger and pinky. Hospitalization was not required.

NarrativeAt 9:20 a.m. on July 21, 2017, an employee was working for a firm that restored wooden components and accessories such as: cabinets, shelving, and lockers; on yachts. He was using a table saw to rip pieces of wood. The table saw lacked a guard. He was using a push stick to push a piece of wood through the table saw. The stick slipped or broke, and his left hand was caught by the blade. He sustained lacerations to four fingers on his left hand. There was bone loss in three fingers. He was hospitalized.
