NarrativeAt 7:30 a.m. on July 24, 2017, an employee and a coworker were fixing a leak in a ceiling. The cowoker was using a crimping tool that weighed 19 lbs and fell from the ladder. As he fell, the crimping tool struck the employee in his face and fell into a coma. The employee died on August 26, 2017 from multiple injuries that included blunt force trauma to the frontal lobe of the head, bone fracture behind the ear, and a lacerated kidney.
