NarrativeAt approximately 3:20 p.m. on February 23, 2011, Employee #1, a clerical staff member, was injured on the job. Employee #1 was placing some mail in the mail room, and after completing the task, Employee #1 was exiting mail room to go to the main lobby of the building. As Employee #1 turned right, she took a sharp turn and ran in to a wooden chair that was placed outside the room. Employee #1 tripped and fell, on to the carpeted floor. Employee #1 sustained fracture of the left femur and a severe bruise on the right side of the face.
