NarrativeAt 11:00 a.m. on September 28, 2018, an employee was installing french drain pipe in 12 foot deep trench and was caught in the trench when the walls caved in and buried him. The employee was killed due to asphyxiation.

NarrativeAt 3:30 p.m. on September 14, 2018, an employee was driving a company owned Ford F250 pickup truck and had two coworkers with him when a wasp flew in through the window and stung him. The employee had an allergic reaction, requiring use of an EpiPen shot that was administered by one of the coworkers. Despite receiving the shot, the employee became unconscious and slumped over in his seat. Emergency services (EMS) was contacted and the employee's coworkers administered CPR. Several vehicles had also stopped to provide aid as well. Once EMS arrived, two additional doses of EpiPen were administered and the employee was transported to Eastern Plumas Health Center. However, the employee was soon airlifted to Renown Hospital where he was admitted and received treatment for the allergic reaction. The employee died five days later.
