NarrativeAt 4:00 p.m. on October 23, 2017, an employee was mopping the floor inside a fire house when he went to the break room to eat and lost consciousness when he sat down. The employee was taken to the Los Alamitos Medical Center and was treated for non-heat related medical issues. The employee was hospitalized.
On Thursday, November 30th 2017 OSHA reps took a report of a serious accident in Mojave, CA at Scaled Composites Llc. A 58 year old Fabricating machine operator had been injured when the employee was pinned by metal pulled from the milling machine

NarrativeAt 11:15 a.m. on October 18, 2017 , an employee was drilling a hole into a piece of metal using a milling machine. The employee had his hand pinned against the vice when the drill bit caught on the metal and pulled it from the clamp. The employee had his middle and ring fingers degloved initially but required amputation at a later date. Hospitalization was not required.

A 60 year old man working as a employee was killed on the job when the employee experiences coughing attack, falls, and later dies

NarrativeAt August 30, 2017, an employee, a machine repair technician, experienced a coughing attack during a meeting at work. He stood up from a chair and then fell, hitting his head. The company's fire department responded and he was taken to Highline Hospital for surgery to relieve a subdural hematoma. He died at on September 3, 2017. There were no exposures to airborne contaminants and coworkers are not sure what would have triggered cough.
