NarrativeAt approximately 10:00 a.m. on January 29, 2010, Employee #1, an Executive Assis tant working for Wells Capital Management, was performing her normal office duti es and she walked to another office. Employee #2 approached her, causing her to step backward. She tripped, fell, and landed on her left side. Employee #1 state d that at the time of her accident, the carpet in the area was in good condition , and there were no other tripping hazards. Employee #1 was hospitalized and rec eived surgery for a fractured left femur.
