NarrativeOn November 10, 2018, an employee was working as a horse trainer and was conducting a training session. The accident occurred shortly after the track opened (approximately 5:45 AM) for training when the unraced 2-year-old New York Harbor, with the rider aboard, fell about a sixteenth of a mile before the finish line. The employee was killed from head and neck injuries.

NarrativeAt 1:00 p.m. on October 27, 2017, an employee was trying to control a fire while moving some tires that had not caught on fire. The fire surged when fresh oxygen was introduced and the flames shot up, burning the employee's back and upper right arm. The employee suffered first and second degree burns.

NarrativeAt approximately 6:00 a.m. on February 25, 2017, Employee #1 was on a galloping horse coming back to the barn after exercising the horse. As his horse approached behind two younger horses, one of them became spooked which spooked Employee #1's horse. Employee #1's horse leaped and he fell and was struck by the horse. Employee #1 suffered multiple fractured ribs, hamstring avulsions and a fractured hernia and he was hospitalized.
