NarrativeAt approximately 12:30 p.m. on February 11, 2013, Employee #1, a Building Mechanical Inspector, was on a ladder while conducting an HVAC inspection on the upper roof of a family dwelling for safety hazards. The employee was descending the ladder from the upper roof to the lower roof when he lost his footing. Employee #1 slipped and fell from the ladder to the lower roof. Employee #1 was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he underwent surgery to repair a fractured leg. The employee remained hospitalized for two days.
