OSHA investigators arrived in Fremont, CA on Tuesday, March 5th 2013 and began an accident investigation after learning of an incident at Quanta Computer Usa, Inc. which had occured on Friday, February 22nd 2013. A employee working as a employee was injured on the job when the employee suffered fractured when struck by falling cabinet

NarrativeAt approximately 10:30 a.m. on February 22, 2013, Employee #1 was manually moving an 8-ft tall and about 600 lb. server cabinet towards a testing area. During the transfer of the cabinet two wheels got stuck on the concrete floor bump and fell striking the employee's right thigh and left foot. A coworker called Emergency Medical Service and the employee was transported to the hospital, where he was treated for fractured bones. Employee #1 remained hospitalized.
