NarrativeAt 12:30 a.m. on February 9, 2019, an employee was standing on the ledge of a pickle tank that contained 160 degree Fahrenheit sulfuric acid. As the employee reached down with a plastic syringe to collect a solution sample, he fell into the tank. The employee suffered chemical exposure and thermal burns, killing him.

NarrativeAt 5:30 p.m. on May 24, 2018, an employee was trying to dislodge a hot casted bar stock from a hydraulic pump area, using an overhead crane and cable sling. The employee was trapped on a hot mill service platform when the bar stock burned through the hydraulic lines and ignited some hydraulic fluid. The employee jumped from the platform to escape the fire and fractured both feet. The employee was hospitalized.

NarrativeAt 9:55 a.m. on December 11, 2017, an employee was moving scrap steel using a Taylor-Dunn industrial vehicle. The employee accelerated the vehicle and drove it under a scrap trailer, killing him when he was pinned between the trailer and vehicle.
