NarrativeAt 4:30 p.m. on November 5, 2017, an employee was trying to line up the kiln car to get it moving and he reached under the car to engage a switch. The employee caught his finger between the switch and actuator when the car jerked. The employee partially amputated his finger. Hospitalization was not required.
