NarrativeOn August 29, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. an employee was working with two other employees testing a salter machine that is a component of a newly manufactured popcorn machine. Salt was added to the salter machine and the machine was running to produce salted popcorn. At some point, salt accumulated in the machine. The injured employee visually detected the salt accumulation and attempted to clear the salt by hand. Subsequently, his right hand was caught between the rotating horizontal screw auger and adjacent panel of the machine resulting in bruising and tendon injuries requiring overnight hospitalization.

NarrativeAn employee was operating a forklift when the unit lost power. The forklift stalled and then rolled back towards some barriers posted in front of the electrical box. The employee stuck his foot outside of the driver's compartment as the forklift approached the barrier. His foot was crushed between the barrier and the forklift.
