NarrativeAt 5:15 a.m. on September 25, 2017, Employee #1 was operating a mechanical power press. The press cycled unexpectedly while his hand was in the die, causing a crushing injury to his left middle finger.

NarrativeAt 10:30 p.m. on June 8, 2017, an employee in the core department operating a slotter machine had a nut get jammed in the loading chute. The employee reached in and removed the jammed nut with his finger. The loading cylinder engaged and caught the tip of the employee's finger between the loading chute guard and the loading clinger resulting in an amputation to the end of the finger.
