NarrativeAt 6:30 p.m. on October 27, 2017, an employee was cleaning the must pump to remove some clogged grape debris. The employee reached into the pump inlet to clear it out and the rotating pump impeller struck his fingertip, amputating it. The employee was taken to Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula and was admitted for treatment.

NarrativeAt 8:30 a.m. on October 18, 2017, an employee was standing on the back of a trailer, Kubota 8200 (Serial Number 56875) removing leaves from grapes in a 4 by 4 grape bin. A coworker lost control of a tractor, striking the employee. The employee was pinned between the counterweights on the front of the tractor and the trailer frame. The employee suffered several broken bones, two crushed ankles, and several contusions. The employee was hospitalized.
OSHA investigators arrived in Los Gatos, CA on Thursday, October 19th 2017 and began an accident investigation which had occured previously at Testarossa Winery. A 38 year old man working as a Crushing was injured on the job when the employee fell from ladder and sustained head trauma

NarrativeAt 1:20 p.m. on October 17, 2017, an employee was on a 6 foot stepladder placed on uneven concrete driveway surface. The employee was cleaning the grape cluster thruster. The employee fell off the ladder to the ground. The employee was transported to Valley Medical Center Hospital San Jose. The injured employee was found on the ground unconscious. The injured employee sustained a laceration to the right side of his head and internal brain bleeding.
