The most recent numbers show a total of 1,670 businesses currently operating in the Emergency and Other Relief Services industry. With OSHA reported accident rates of less than that of the the Community Food and Housing and Emergency and Other Relief Services Industry as a whole, things have been relatively safe over the past five years.
